Samo Media and Tech announced the completion of the first round of funding for its fintech platform TheBank.vn with investment from CyberAgent Capital and Ncore Ventures. The funding amount was not disclosed.

Founded in 2014, TheBank.vn is a marketplace that compares and sells financial products such as credit cards, unsecured loans, mortgage loans, savings, and insurance. It also connects customers to financial advisors.

Its strategic partners include banks like Standard Chartered and HSBC, and insurance companies like Prudential Financial and Manulife.

TheBank.vn serves more than 1 million customers and hosts 1,300 financial products and over 24,000 registered financial advisors, it said in a statement.

It will use the capital infusion to further develop its platform and improve customer experience.
