During the annual innovation competition for start-ups Accenture Innovation Awards 2018 in Maarssen, prizes were again awarded in the health, security, mobility, food, climate, education, finance and life & work sectors. Five start-up finalists were nominated per category. The finalists were given the opportunity to present their concept to a jury, investors and accelerators. In all eight categories, the winner receives advice, workshops and media value from the various partners of the event in addition to the award. During the Accenture Innovation Awards 2018, the final of the Junior Innovation Challenge also took place. In this innovation competition, young people aged between 10 and 16 are challenged to come up with a solution for an everyday problem. • Finance: Safened.
