Deutsche Bank is pushing ahead with its ambitious API programme, putting a call out for 100 enterprises to help it develop its data interface. Joris Hensen, co-head, Deutsche Bank API programme, says: "We want to have the broadest possible range of applications linked to our API that also go beyond traditional finance services. The more dialogue between us and our partners, the more appropriate solutions we can develop."
Fintechs, startups and established players from all industries are being invited to apply to become programme partners, as Deutsche Bank looks to evaluate the potential uses for banking data and the specifications that its dbAPI data interface must fulfil. In return for their help, the partners will get the opportunity to develop interface solutions in pilot projects that meet their specifications and may use the dbAPI free of charge for six months. They will also get access to Deutsche Bank’s internal innovation and start-up network.
