The investment round was led by Trident Capital Cybersecurity, whose Managing Directors, J. Alberto Yépez and Ken Gonzalez, will join BehavioSec’s board of directors. The funding round also saw contributions from ABN AMRO and Cisco Investments, in addition to returning investors Conor Venture Partners and Octopus Ventures. In a statement announcing the success of the funding round, BehavioSec said the investment capital “will be used to expand global operations and relocate corporate headquarters to the United States.” The company is currently headquartered in Sweden, with additional offices in Germany.
