The round was led by Orange Growth Capital with participation from new investor Salesforce Ventures, and existing investors.
The company will use the new funding to accelerate growth in emerging markets, further strengthen its presence in North America and Europe, and reinforce the R&D team based in Zurich.
Squirro enables companies to gain insights from unstructured and structured data that is stored in different silos within organizations. Using their core search, indexing, and ML based platform, they help business units manage their internal and external customer service environments, Customer Insights as well as Cognitive search. They are deployed in a wide variety of financial institutions such as Wells Fargo, Swiss Re and Investec, as well as telecom and manufacturing industries.
