Berlin-based insurtech startup Getsurance has raised €2 million in a seed funding round. The investment comes from Picus Capital, the investment company of Alexander Samwer, and the Swiss Postfinance Bank. Last May, shortly after the launch of Getsurance, the founders received €500,000 euros in an angel investment from the managers of the rating agency Franke and Bornberg. The company was founded by brothers Johannes and Viktor Becher as an independent broker for various insurance products. However, Getsurance's aim now with its new funding is to become the "first digital disability insurance on the market".
