Viber filed trademark for ’Sending Money Is As Easy As Saying Hello’ Viber Media CEO Talmon Marco. A messaging platform with more than 600 million users may be moving into mobile payments. Viber filed a trademark application on Oct. 6 with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for this word mark: “Sending Money Is As Easy As Saying Hello.” With the Viber app, users send free messages and make free calls to other Viber users. “Viber is constantly in the process of Research and Development and looking into potential new services for our us. The area of mobile payments is certainly one that interests us and we’ll have more information in due course,” Mark Hardy, the chief marketing officer of Viber, wrote in an email to MarketWatch.
