Lets see how this will pay-out as consolidation of this space should happen in the next 2-3 years
Mobile point-of-sale pioneer iZettle has raised a €60m Series D round to help grow its small business customer-base across Europe. The company is now targeting small traders with its iZettle Advance package, which speeds up payment processing and offers varied fees depending on sales made. “We have aimed to build a financing service that’s completely tailored to the needs of small businesses,” said Carl-Richard Häggman, iZettle’s chief risk officer. “The service allows for small businesses to make the necessary investments in their operations, on their own terms and with minimal administration.” The round was led by previous investors Intel Capital and Zouk Capital.
