Interesting read, and several of these trends are there for a while, big question is not if they will happen, but the speed at which the impact happens, e.g. the branchless society people started to forecast in the 80's when computers got more adapted

In late summer, I published a two-part post detailing the most important retail banking projects for next year (here and here). I've got another installment or two in the pipeline, but since it's already starting to feel like we are making our final descent into 2015, I wanted to take a step back and explain WHY those projects rose to the top. So here, in semi-prioritized order, are six myths that continue to hamper the strategic planning of retail banks (at least in the United States).
